FOR A DIGNIFIED AGING (POR UNA VEJEZ DIGNA)

Strategic communication initiative developed in collaboration with Escuela Mónica Herrera, CORDES, and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, focused on translating complex pension system research into accessible and structured public narratives.

Problem :

Public discourse around pensions and dignified aging lacked structured educational communication capable of translating complex economic and policy data into accessible narratives.

There was a need to connect research, public awareness, and advocacy through a cohesive and strategically grounded communication framework.

Solution :

An interdisciplinary team developed a research-based communication strategy structured around thematic axes to ensure clarity and depth.

I contributed primarily within the Education axis and supported the Gender axis, while remaining actively involved in cross-collaboration across research development, campaign structuring, digital framework design, and audiovisual planning.

This included contributing to the strategic structure and content development of the campaign website, ensuring alignment between research findings and digital communication.

Research findings were translated into:

• A structured communication campaign
• A public-facing website
• Audiovisual materials for digital dissemination
• A comprehensive research report
• A formal institutional presentation

All decisions were collaboratively developed and grounded in research analysis.

Challenge :

Translating complex pension data and structural social issues into communication that was educational, dignified, and emotionally resonant — without oversimplifying the policy context.

Summary :

The initiative demonstrated how interdisciplinary research and strategic communication can transform complex public policy issues into structured narratives that support education, institutional dialogue, and social awareness.

The campaign received institutional and national media coverage, expanding public visibility and reinforcing its social impact positioning.
